About Us

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the Puerto Rican community in Florida and supporting the cause of all Puerto Ricans. We work in collaboration with other organizations that share our mission, because we firmly believe that through unity we can achieve more.Equality, decolonization, and statehood are not only our guiding principles—they are the foundation of our purpose and the reason we exist. As an independent, nonpartisan organization, we are not aligned with any political party. Our commitment is solely to the people of Puerto Rico and to building a stronger, more united voice for justice, representation, and lasting change.

Mission

Our mission is to advocate for Puerto Rico’s admission as the 51st state of the United States. Guided by our commitment to equality, we work to harness political power, strengthen representation, and advance initiatives that ensure Puerto Ricans enjoy the same rights and opportunities as all U.S. citizens.

Vision

We envision a future in which Puerto Rico is fully integrated as a state of the United States, with equal representation and rights for its people. By fostering political dialogue, driving strategic action, and building strong alliances, we seek to strengthen democracy and promote a unified nation.

The goal of our nonprofit organization is to promote our social cause, which is to contribute to the decolonization of Puerto Rico, to support the prevailing measures that can be addressed by the federal chamber and senate to achieve a plebiscite in Puerto Rico, and finally to achieve statehood for the island. We will focus the necessary efforts to educate more people about the situation in Puerto Rico and pursue the purpose of the Florida Chapter of the Extended Congressional Delegation.
